I'm in the third grade so I'm talking about The inconvenient truth. It is written by Al Gore. Al Gore was trying to stop the pollution. I thought he should have won.So did my teacher. My teacher's name is Madame C.
We can stop polluting and throwing trash on the ground. Some people are treating the ground like garbage cans. We can save energy. If it's pitch black, you can turn the light on. But if you can see everything in your room then you should not turn it on because its wasting energy. People are throwing trash away because they think it can't be used anymore. You can recycle stuff and get more money. You can also use that money to save energy like buying special electricity cords, solar panels and electric cars.
If you treat the world poorly then you'll end up being poor. And hot because we have no shelter from the sun and we have to use up all the trees to build houses. And if we use all the trees then we won't have any oxygen. If that happens, you'll die.

You asked the right person! Right now, I recycle cans and bottles and paper. Just make sure you don't recycle anything with water or soda in it-it can break the recycling machine! You can also recycle ink cartriges and stuff like that. You can reuse all sorts of stuff you don't want anymore, like socks that have holes in them. I like to make doll clothes for my animals, but make sure they aren't all stinky. Maybe if you make clothes for your toys you should wash the socks first! instead of throwing things away, maybe you can donate your things to the salvacion army or something. There are lots of people that don't have nice things like i do so i like to give them things they can use. Oh! and you can put coffee grounds in your garden as ferteliser. My mom used to work in a coffee shop and would bring home the grounds and put it in the soil. It smells better than poop! And if you still have extra garbage, you can make art stuff. Just make sure they aren't smelly or rotten and use your imaginashun.
ANd you can compost stuff. Like apple peels, banana peels, and leaves and stuff. Yoou can get a nice compost box from target, but its kind of expensiive.
i have to go to school now. if I hear of anything else to recycle i'll let you no.
